What should a new client know about working with you?
Alison’s typical process is a 30-35 minute session which includes patient participation and therapist feedback, including techniques to practice. She will also assign homework to help support what is learned during the session. The patient is expected to come to each session prepared with what they want to talk about.
Initial intake does not initiate a professional relationship, both parties must agree to work together for a professional relationship to be initiated.
Please note: a session will be considered missed and charged a no show fee if the patient is 10 minutes late or more.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Alison’s style is Direct, Solution Oriented, and Affirming.
