I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Oftentimes, it takes courage to confront our challenges and to find a space to explore them. If you are currently feeling overwhelmed, anxious or experience life changes, know that you do not have to navigate it alone.
During our time together, we will explore challenges that may interfere with your journey towards growth, healing, and self-acceptance. Our joint effort will focus on identifying and challenging emotions, unhelpful narratives and old habits, and equipping you with tools to navigate life’s inevitable ups and downs.
I bring empathy, curiosity, an open mind to each meeting and practice therapy as a collaborative effort where my goal is to actively listen, build therapeutic trust, and empower clients. I received my B.A in Psychology at CUNY Brooklyn College and completed my M.A in Mental Health Counseling at Long Island University. With my educational and clinical experience, I have become a well-rounded counselor which enables me to work with a range of clients such as children, adolescents and their families.
Therapy is a place for you to feel safe and truly be yourself, and finding the right fit is essential. I look forward to working together and being a stepping stone to your growth.
